Spring Membership Meeting
"What Flowering Bushes Grow Best at IBK"
The Village of Innsbrook Garden Club will kick-off the 2023
gardening season at its Spring Membership Meeting. Please join us as we showcase our 2023 calendar of events.
Experienced IBK gardeners will share their favorite flowering shrubs for the unique IBK landscape,
with live sample plants and take-home handouts. Hope you’ll join us as we renew gardening friendships.
Membership dues of $25 per family will be collected.

Spruce-Up Day for Our Log Cabin Gardens
Bring along your hand gardening tools and join us as we clean up our gardens
at the Log Cabin. Come and be a part of making our gardens look great for
the May 13th IHS Discovery Day.

Visit Daniel's Greenhouse in St. Peters, MO
Daniels carries all your VIGC Recommended perennials, flowering bushes, and annuals, and has large greenhouses to explore.
Afterwards, we will meet on the way home for lunch at Cottleville Wine Sellers.

Guided Tour of Whitmire Wildflower Garden at Shaw Nature Reserve
Innsbrook gardeners will enjoy a guided tour of the the 500 MO wildflowers growing in 5 environments.
Walking tour starts at 10:00AM. Lunch at Noon at Hawthorne Inn, Labadie, MO.
BEFORE May 25, contact Shirley Ritsema for reservations and to pay $10 per person for the tour.

Tour Chihuly exhibit at Missouri Botanical Garden
We will enjoy a self-guided tour of the gardens featuring Chihuly glass exhibits.
Afterward, we have the option of lunching at the garden cafe' and stopping for Ted Drewes on the way back.
Entrance fee for non-members of MOBOT is $14 each, paid at the door.

Tour Sunflowerhill Farm in Augusta, MO
Enjoy a short walking tour of this organic vegetable farm and then enjoy
a farm-to-table lunch in the cafe'(gazpacho, 1/2 sandwich, side salad,cookie, coffee or tea - $25).

Bountiful Harvest Dinner
We planned, planted, watered, weeded, repotted, watered, and watched our gardens grow.
Now it’s time to say “thank you” to all our loyal 2023 VIGC members with a complimentary
and bountiful harvest dinner. Wine, beer, West Allen Grill ribs and chicken will be provided.
Members are asked to bring a side dish, dessert, or appetizer to share. Hope you’ll join us as
